Commissions for businesses and schools...........
I have also made commissions for schools and businesses to use for marketing, promotion and fundraising. The original commissions can be available in digital form and you can order merchandise from me such as greetings cards/tote bags/prints which can be used for fundraising. Alternatively we can discuss buying the copyright for unlimited use - you receive the original and the image in digital form. Simply email me to discuss your needs.... the commission process is below as well as examples of commissions.......
What happens next - the commission process:
Simply contact me via email or telephone to initially talk about your ideas for the commission and the size of your budget. This stage is really important as we get to pin down things like size, price, framed or unframed, specific details to be included as well as the deadline. I may need you to provide a range of photographs of a venue, or I might be able to visit the venue if it is near to me. Please allow 8 weeks before the wedding to start this process as I often have a waiting list for commissions. 30% of the commission price is due at this stage as a deposit via cheque/BACS or Paypal.
I then prepare three sketches of the proposed composition of the commission which I then email to you for you to choose one design. If there are things that need adjusting or tweaking, then this is the stage to really it right as its from these sketches I will develop the commission collage.
The cutting and making begins! I can send you progress pictures if you would like, though people often wait for the excitement of the big reveal. Whatever you would like, I am happy to do. When the piece is completed, I send the commission via Royal Mail Guaranteed (it will need a signature) to your selected address and the final remainder payment (70%) will then be due. This can be paid as before by cheque/BACS or Paypal. The commission is usually unframed (additional charge and delivery applied to framed works) and supplied in a window mount using an off white archival mount card, ready to slip into a frame.
Commissions usually measure 40 x 50 cm mounted size or 60 x 80 cm mounted size.
