Creative paper cutting and collage workshops for adults......

I really enjoy running workshops for adults as I can share techniques and show people the wonderful art of papercutting! It’s really great to inspire others to make and create their own original works of art. Papercutting and collage is very absorbing. It’s sort of meditative as you get in the cutting away zone as you work and develop a piece; its great for mindfulness and being in the moment. It’s also very accessible as you need a small amount of equipment to get started and can get amazing results whatever your ability.

I run two sorts of workshops – half day and a full day in length. The half day ones are great as an introduction to the art of paper cutting and a full day gives you much more information and extended time to make something truly unique and ready to hang when you get home. Scroll through the gallery below to see the beautiful art made on the workshops I have run in all sorts of places from schools, museums, book fairs, shops and homes! I even run workshops in homes - scroll down for more info about Kitchen Table workshops.....

Some lovely feedback from people on my workshops.....

I now run really lovely kitchen table workshops! These are workshops are especially designed for friends to learn and be creative together. It's a great way to learn something new too away from a more formal setting.

How it works: each host of a Kitchen Table Workshop supplies the venue and the lunch if its an all day workshop, plus the teas and coffees. The host doesn't pay the workshop fee. Kitchen Table Workshops can be all day, or half day ones - approximately 6 or 3 hour lengths. I teach several ways to do paper cutting, culminating in finished pieces that are then framed ready to take home on the day. It makes for a lovely event to enjoy and remember.

How much do they cost? Each workshop is tailored to each person, so contact me so I can design something especially for your group/ friends or family!

How many can do a Kitchen Table Workshop? I can teach up to 8 people in a kitchen table workshop. All you need is a bright room and table space for each person. Lunch can be whatever the host would like to provide, from simple soup and bread to something more snazzy! I frame the unique pieces made on the day, so everyone can go home with a wonderful piece of original and personal art!
